42CrMo钢稀土微合金化对气体渗氮性能的影响

Effect of rare earth microalloying on gas nitriding propertiesof 42CrMo steel

摘要: 对42CrMo钢进行稀土微合金化处理,研究在渗氮热处理条件下稀土元素的添加对渗层组织及硬度的影响。结果表明,渗氮处理后,添加稀土元素的42CrMo钢,白亮层明显增厚,表面硬度和有效硬化层深显著提高,渗层脉状组织有所改善,说明稀土微合金化对42CrMo钢的渗氮过程具有明显的催渗作用,能够加快氮原子的扩散,提高了渗氮速度。

Abstract: Effects of rare earth elements on microstructure and hardness of 42CrMo steel under nitriding heat treatment were investigated. The results show that after nitriding treatment, the white layer of the 42CrMo steel added with rare earth elements, is obviously thickened, the surface hardness and effective hardening layer depth are significantly increased, and the pulse structure of the permeability layer is improved. It shows that the rare earth microalloying has an obvious effect on the nitriding process of the 42CrMo steel, it can accelerate the diffusion of nitrogen atoms, and increase nitriding speed.
