Abstract: Effect of different cooling rates on the phase transformation and microstructure of 15B36-M track steel for excavator was studied by thermal simulation test, and the specimens were cooled at the different cooling rates of 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 ℃·s-1. The results show that at different cooling rates, the thermal expansion curve of the 15B36-M steel has different microstructure transformation temperatures. The CCT curve can be used to guide the rolling process of the 15B36-M steel to obtain required microstructures.
