Influence of rare-earth element Ce on microstructure and texture of hot rolled oriented silicon steel

Abstract: Alloy system of hot rolled oriented silicon steel strip produced by 2250 mm hot rolling line was designed,and a reasonable preheating and hot rolling process were formulated.The oriented silicon steel billet and hot rolled strip with the addition of rare earth element Ce were analyzed,and the effect of Ce on microstructure,hot rolled texture and magnetic properties of finished products were investigated.The results show that the rare earth element Ce can refine the microstructure of the continuous casting billet and hot rolled strip,and improve magnetic properties of oriented silicon steel products.
