Abstract: Distortion of armor plate with the specification of extremely thin and wide in the process of quenching was studied by means of numerical simulation, and the parameters of pulse-pressure quenching were also optimized. Comparing the distortion amount of armor plate under different cooling conditions, the pulse-pressure and period were determined. The results show that under the simulation condition of pulse constraint, the final distortion amount of armor plate in the thickness direction Z is 1.7 mm, which is not only less than the normal requirements of 2 mm, but also can meet the actual production requirements of the armor plate surface without indentation, scratch and other damage under the premise of less quenching deformation.
