Abstract: Effect of solution treatment temperature on the microstructure and hardness of Ni-based superalloy GH3600 were investigated by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometer and hardness tester. The results show that with the solution treatment temperature increasing, the secondary phase in the alloy dissolves gradually, the grain size of the matrix phase grows rapidly, and the hardness of the alloy decreases. When the solution treatment temperature is 1010 ℃, the uniform grain structure is obtained, the twin structure is formed, and the hardness value reaches 152.6 HV10.
