Abstract: High temperature deformation behavior of GWZ1031K magnesium alloy was investigated by high temperature tensile test at 250-400 ℃ and the deformation rate of 0.2 mm/min.Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray energy spectroscopy (EDS) were used to observe the microstructure and tensile fracture. The results show that the peak value appears in all the high temperature tensile stress-strain curves at different temperatures, and the peak stress decreases with the increase of deformation temperature, meanwhile the plasticity increases sharply, particularly superplasticity occurs at 400 ℃.Combining the analyse of microstructure and fracture morphology,it can be concluded that the GWZ1031K magnesium alloy has good heat resistance in the temperature range from 250 ℃ to 350 ℃.
