Abstract: Microstructure evolution low of GH4169 alloy during solution and cold drawing was studied by using electron backscattering diffraction (EBSD) technology. The results show that abnormal grain growth occurs at the edge of the initial hot rolled bar after solid solution treatment, and the difference in size between normal grain and abnormal grain is not obvious due to the pinning action of δ phase. After solution treatment, the small angle grain boundary changes to the large angle, and the {111}<112> twin appears at the edge. In the process of cold drawing, with the increase of deformation, the difference of deformation in different regions gradually decreases. When the deformation reaches 30%, the deformation in different regions is basically the same. With the proliferation of dislocations in the deformation process, the content of large angle grain boundary decreases gradually, and the content of small angle grain boundary increases gradually. When the deformation is relatively small, the edge deformation is similar to rolling deformation, so there will be Goss texture and brass texture. With the increase of deformation, the typical <111> silk texture appears, and the texture strength also increases gradually.
