The 30th IFHTSE World Congress is scheduled to be held in Suzhou, China from August 19 to 22, 2025. Organized by the Chinese Heat Treatment Society (CHTS), established in 1963, this event marks a significant milestone in the longstanding tradition of collaboration and exchange within global heat treatment and surface engineering communities. As one of China's oldest professional societies, CHTS has fostered a rich history of friendship and cooperation with international counterparts for over six decades.
Our Society serves as a platform for technology and innovation, connecting more than 1,000 institutional members and 6,000 individual members while facilitating worldwide partnerships across academia and industry. The longstanding collaboration between CHTS and IFHTSE has yielded numerous landmark events, including:

Building on this legacy, we are now directing our collective efforts and resources towards organizing a congress that will explore the interplay of tradition and innovation in heat treatment and surface engineering. This premier gathering will convene global experts, researchers, and industry leaders to:

The "Tom Bell Young Author Award (TBYAA)" and the "IFHTSE World Congress Scholarship" are established by the congress for authors under the age of 35 who apply at the time of submission. After a rigorous selection process by IFHTSE, certificates will be awarded to the deserving recipients, who will also have the opportunity to receive funding to attend the next IFHTSE World Congress.
? Conference Excellent Young Author Award
The "Excellent Young Paper Presentation Award" and the "Excellent Poster Presentation Award" are established by the congress for authors under the age of 35. These awards are rigorously selected by CHTS, with certificates presented to the deserving recipients.
